Seeking Box Truck Driver

Pacific Food Importers, a trusted provider of fine foods and specialty ingredients in the Pacific Northwest for decades, is seeking a dependable and professional Box Truck Delivery Drivers and one Order selector Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position offering $22-24.00/hr., paid breaks, full benefits for employees.
Driver Position Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Starting Location: Kent, WA
Delivery Areas: Greater Seattle area
Driver Responsibilities:
Safely load carts with inventory onto a company 24-26-ft box truck, ensuring accuracy and security during transport.
Navigate greater Seattle area in a 24-ft box truck, utilizing designated load/unload zones for deliveries.
Transport carts loaded with products from the truck to retail stores.
Drive safely in inclement weather conditions.
Assist with the training and onboarding of new driving staff as needed.
Perform light cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle after deliveries.
Submit end-of-day reports and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Clean driving record with no moving violations or citations for the past 3 years.
Minimum of 3 consecutive years of driving experience.
Proven experience operating a 24-26ft box truck.
Ability to pass a drug test, including marijuana, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Order Selector Supervisor:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Starting Location: Kent, WA
Delivery Areas: Greater Seattle area
Responsibilities:
Order Selection:
Accurately pick, assemble, and prepare customer orders based on delivery schedules and specifications.
Verify orders for accuracy and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
Team Supervision:
Oversee, train, and support a team of 2-4 order selectors.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure team compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Operational Management:
Collaborate with warehouse management to plan daily workloads and prioritize orders.
Maintain organization in the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing delays.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate discrepancies or low stock items to management.
Safety and Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety, ensuring that all employees follow proper safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas, reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
Physical Requirements for both positions:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
