Westwind Organics is a 200+ acre certified organic commercial vegetable farm in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley, located in NW Washington state. We grow over 30 different types of vegetables with a heavy emphasis on lettuce, broccoli, bunched greens, cabbage, celery, and winter storage crops. We operate with the highest principles of sustainability for the planet, people, and profit. Family-owned farm that has been in business since 1995.
This position is responsible for delivering customer orders in good condition while representing Westwind Organics in a positive, professional manner at all times. Must be able to operate a truck trailer combination. A valid CDL is not required, as agricultural driving is exempt. This is a part-time position with deliveries occurring all year, though it is busier in the summer months. Other work opportunities are available depending on skills and desire.
Primary responsibilities:
Loading product using a pallet jack and forklift. Manually down stack product on customer docks when required.
Timely delivery within a 150-mile radius.
Be available for early morning deliveries.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Required skills:
Must be able to drive a truck trailer combination/tractor trailer/18 wheeler and 24-foot box trucks.
