Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver at Superior Cabinets, you will be responsible for safely delivering cabinetry to our customers. You will ensure that products are handled carefully and delivered in a timely manner. You’ll be the face of our company during deliveries, providing excellent customer service at each stop.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport cabinetry and related products to customer locations.
- Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
- Inspect products for damage before and after delivery.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle including daily trip inspections.
- Assist with inventory management when necessary
- On days where there are few or zero deliveries, drivers are expected to work in the shop and help finish cabinets that are to be delivered in the coming days.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs. or more).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local delivery routes and areas is a plus.
