Motorcycle Service Manager — Seattle Used Bikes (Seattle, WA)

At Seattle Used Bikes, our service department is built on trust, quality work, and exceptional customer care. We’re looking for a Service Manager to lead our service team and ensure every rider leaves confident in their bike’s care. This role oversees the daily operations of the service department, guiding staff, managing workflow, and keeping customer satisfaction at the center of everything we do.

What You’ll Do:

-Lead with a rider-first mindset, setting the tone for honesty, clear communication, and top-quality service.

-Supervise, coach, and schedule service technicians and our service coordinator.

-Manage department financial performance including labor sales, expenses, and profitability.

-Collaborate with management to set fair labor rates and service promotions.

-Ensure service work is completed accurately, on time, and to high standards.

-Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy.

-Coordinate with the parts department to streamline availability and minimize wait times.

-Maintain shop organization, equipment, and safety standards.

-Stay current with motorcycle service trends and apply best practices to improve operations.

What We’re Looking For:

-Proven leadership and customer service skills.

-Strong technical knowledge of motorcycle systems, diagnostics, and repairs.

-Experience with service management software (DX1 is a plus).

-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance workflow and customer priorities.

-Calm, empathetic problem-solving abilities.

-A genuine passion for motorcycles and creating positive rider experiences.
