We are an excavation company based out of Woodinville with projects in Seattle and the Eastside. We are looking for another dump truck driver to add to our team. This driver must be able to make it to the Woodinville yard by 6am ready to inspect and start their truck. This driver should be comfortable loading trucks using a loader or excavator. This driver should have a proven record of driving a dump truck throughout the greater Seattle area and to pits in the mountains.
Bonus for a driver who ALSO has experience driving a roll off, volumetric concrete trucks and hauling equipment and materials using a tilt deck trailer.
Duties:
- Operate dump truck to transport materials to and from delivery sites
- Load materials using front end loader or excavator
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the dump truck
- Inspect the truck before and after each shift to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and miles driven
Experience:
- Must have experience driving a dump truck on Seattle’s narrow roads.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform hours of driving, entering and exiting truck / equipment.
- Keep basic records including documenting loads, marking invoice progress and truck inspection report
- Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
