Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services, ensuring that items are loaded, unloaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Operate a box truck or van to transport items to various locations.
Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage.
Assist customers with packing and unpacking as needed.
Ensure all items are secured properly during transit.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.
Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Experience in moving or warehouse environments is a plus.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
