Vertiso is a new tech startup located in downtown Bellevue, WA. Our mission is to help individuals, families, and companies improve by leveraging technology. We are building our first commercial product with a small team of ex-Google and Microsoft developers who wanted to build products that help improve people's lives and do things without a lot of bureaucracy and politics. We want to partner with our users, move fast, break things, and then make them great!
This is where you come in. We need a junior developer to help our team make this all happen.
We're not looking for someone who is an expert in Rails, Postgres, Turbo, or Stimulus. You don't need to be a Ruby, SQL, or Javascript pro, and you don't have to have mastered CSS, Tailwind, or HTML5. You don't need to know the intricacies of RSpec or Capybara. You'll have all these skills (and more) before too long just by working with us. Obviously, having some familiarity with web development or any of these technologies will be a benefit, but mastery is not required.
What we are looking for is someone who is passionate about using technology to solve hard problems and who can learn quickly. Someone who shows up ready to learn. Most importantly, I would like someone who believes in our mission.
We are open to full-time or part-time, pay and benefits per experience, and are negotiable. At the junior level, work will primarily be on-site in our Bellevue office.
