The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry. Experience is required in negotiating and contracting corporate rates, group blocks, FnB events, and more. This positions is responsible for selling multiple properties in our portfolio so the ability to communicate timely and accurately via phone and email is essential. This position does require some business travel but it's not a significant part of the job expectations. The sales manager will be based at one of the hotels, however, working remotely is negotiable.
This position demands someone to be self directed/motivated to find and close sales. It requires more than simply responding to leads that come in. The expectation is the sales manager engages with local communities and the Seattle and surrounding markets to find new business.
