Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon has partnered with a leading player in the fish processing industry, committed to delivering high-quality seafood products to their customers. With a dedication to sustainability, innovation, and excellence, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Quality Control Specialist.
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that fish processing operations maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and assess the quality of seafood products through rigorous inspections and testing processes.
What you get to do:
· Preparation of line
· Check for correct raw materials, cartons, cases, and correct labeling.
· Calibration of equipment
· Check cutting configurations and fryer/freezer speeds and temperatures.
· Communicate any non-compliance in processing or a product not meeting specifications to the Line Supervisor and the processing status of products to the QA Supervisor.
· Provide feedback on product quality, personal hygiene practices, and other essential information.
· Perform periodic processing audits and finish processing records and summaries.
· Assist in removing QA equipment from the processing line and the cleaning of that equipment.
What you need to be successful:
·Attention to detail must be paid to all aspects of production.
·Some calculations are required, as well as verification of process control throughout the facility.
Pay: $19.00
Schedule: Full-time with overtime available. Day shift
