Bookkeeping Clerk/Admin Assistant

We are an established conveyor maintenance and electrical company in Spokane Valley, looking to hire a full-time Bookkeeping Clerk/Admin Assistant. We are seeking an individual to collaborate efficiently with our staff, customers, and vendors. The right candidate needs to be dependable, honest, self-motivated, and work well in a team environment, be coach-able and take direction well, have a positive attitude, open to new challenges, good at multi-tasking, and excellent communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: In the Construction Industry, QuickBooks Desktop, Expense tracking, Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Invoicing.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Date entry and assisting with the bookkeeping.

WEEKLY TIME SHEET PROCESSING: Must collaborate with field employees for relevant project paperwork and weekly time sheet information.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: Customer setup and invoicing.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: Data entry.

LIGHT CLERICAL DUTIES SHARED WITH OTHER STAFF: To include but not limited to, filing and minimal phone reception.

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED

FULL TIME: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, includes a ½ hour lunch break. In office required for the training period (TBD on experience), with one remote day each week as determined and agreed upon after the training period.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

SICK LEAVE: In accordance with Washington State requirements.

PAID HOLIDAYS (AFTER 90 DAYS) INCLUDE: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days) and Christmas.

PAID VACATION: (80) hours earned after first year on anniversary date and each year after. Following ten years of continuous employment, (120) hours earned for each year on anniversary date.

HEALTH INSURANCE (AFTER 60 DAYS) TO INCLUDE: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.

RETIREMENT PLAN: Simple IRA with employer match of up to 3% of employee’s contribution.
