Position Description

Title: Portfolio Administrator

Status: Full time 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

Type: Administrative

Approximate start date: Mid-April 2024

Location: In office 5 days per week to start. Upon completion of introductory training, 2 days per week in office required and 3 days at home.

Job Summary

The Portfolio Administrator is responsible for the set up and maintenance of client accounts; compilation and completion of client, custodian, and firm paperwork; review of client transactions and activity; and execution of client and firm tasks such as asset transfers, preparation of reports, and client withdrawals or deposits.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Portfolio Administrator can expect to focus in the following areas:

Set up new and existing client accounts

Assist clients in completing firm and custodian paperwork as needed

Review client transactions and activities; prepare reports

Compile account paperwork for client meetings and review

Execute asset transfers

Process withdrawal requests

Process checks for deposit into client accounts

Back-up support for receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills Required

Degree from an accredited college or university

Proficiency in Windows-based software

This position is the main point of contact for clients; must have a client-first attitude

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be proactive and have the ability to focus on self-reliance

Organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask

Strong analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple projects while being interrupted

Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others, but also able to work independently

Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment

Aptitude and flexibility to grow into additional responsibilities as needed

Salary and Benefits

$50,000-$56,000 based on experience and qualifications
