Arden Ironworks is seeking a Fabrication Shop Manager to oversee our fabrication facility. We are a women-owned business based in Hayden, Idaho. Working primarily in Commercial construction of large multi-family apartment and condo buildings. We supply all the manufactured steel components required for the construction of multi-story buildings in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
We work on multiple projects at a time, completing Shop Fabrication, Finishes, Delivery, and Installation, all over the Inland Northwest. We need someone detail-oriented and able to oversee the timely completion of our projects.
Fabrication Manager position requirements.
1. Experience working in a large, high-output fabrication facility.
2. Personal Management, Safety, Manufacturing Efficiency, High standard of quality.
3. Shop scheduling, manhour tracking, employee timecards
4. Quality inspections
5. Proficient reading and understanding of Shop Drawings.
6. Problem-solving, working with design engineers and project managers
7. Familiar with the fabrication of Structural Steel, Railings, Staircases, balconies, gates, ADA Railings, and other metal components needed for commercial construction projects.
8. Proficient with Fabrication shop equipment and safe work practices.
9. Computer skills with Microsoft Office software
Work hours 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, Fridays when needed.
