Management and Sales - Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing the monthly, quarterly and annual business plans and company initiatives
Drives the success of the Shadowbuck Winery portfolio by partnering with suppliers and customers to execute commercial plans and develop key on-premises accounts
Function as a wine expert in creating programs, education and training for assigned accounts and interact with supplier leadership to prioritize and troubleshoot market activities
Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business
Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives
Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities
Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships
Be knowledgeable and experienced in all accounts staying current with what competitors are offering and how products are positioned relative to the competition
Minimum visibility in assigned accounts must be equal to or greater than competition
Complete all required training to improve performance and effectiveness
Maintain a high level of industry knowledge: food journals, trends, market share, etc.
Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, market surveys (MVPs), expense report, mileage log, etc.
Responsible for advancing and securing wine sales in the market, performing functions to secure new business accounts and facilitating the needs of the existing sales accounts.
Events (but not limited to):
Hire and train wine sales reps and wine event ambassadors
Assist in identifying new events and retail outlet opportunities within the community as needed
Develop and maintain relationships with Event and Retail Promoters
Work alongside Coordinators and the Event Supervisor to ensure all event and retail shifts are attended
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Ensure that all paperwork and trackers are being updated in a timely manner
Generating and qualifying sales leads by engaging with the customers while at events and retail outlets
Achieve sales goals outlined by the management and consistently grow our customer base to meet the company’s financial objectives
Support recruitment efforts and new candidates through training and maintain communication with supervisors to support our recruitment funnel
Support the team of marketers with a direct hands-on approach, provide motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Maintain excellent communication
Support the development of our culture with the team through role modeling desired behaviors and techniques
Assist in touch points with team members that support the best practices for performance management on a regular basis
Promotional Marketing Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Responsible for booking events at various venues in territory
Set up top quality booth spaces at promotional venues
Welcome customers and provide them with general information on our winery and wines
Meet or exceed company goals
