Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. Carpentry and crating is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, materials handling, and process improvement strategies to optimize workflows and maintain safety standards. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to supervising warehouse staff, managing shipping and receiving activities, and implementing best practices in a fast-paced environment.
The Warehouse supervisor will also report to their superior and owners of Fenix Sol on their daily activity. All reports including inventory report, and continuous projects involving the warehouse organization and optimizing daily operations must be reported on a daily basis.
The Warehouse supervisor will be working with excel sheets and will be required to calculate efficiency in terms of shipping and crating stainless steel kitchenware products such as sinks and dish tables.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
- Oversee warehouse distribution processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory using Excel sheets
- Must be technologically inclined and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and suite.
- Supervise the load and unload of containers, help the warehouse crew to facilitate and coordinate unloading containers in the most efficient way possible.
- Lead and develop warehouse team members, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse operations.
- Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting and materials movement.
- Collaborate with logistics providers, 3PL partners, and e-commerce teams to streamline shipping & receiving procedures.
- Monitor workflow to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with a strong background in inventory management, logistics, and team leadership; carpentry and crating experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, materials handling, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHA safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with crating and packaging, forklift, and warehouse organization.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation such as forklifts is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
