The Dock at Bayview is looking for chefs to add to our amazing team!
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, kitchen operations, and meal preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
