EWU Union Market Part-Time Prep Cook
EWU Dining Services is hiring for a part-time, non-student, prep cook in the Union Market on our Cheney Campus. 1 or more years food service experience required. Large scale food production experience is a bonus. Duties include basic food prep and cooking, basic service line work, all kitchen equipment operation, cleaning, and keeping organized, with some possible cashiering, all under general direction of chefs and supervisors.
Must be able to work 20-30 hours/week with potential for up to 40 hours max. Pay starts at $17.03/hr.
Must be at least age 18 and have a valid driver’s license and current food handler’s permit. Must be able to pass a background check prior to starting work. Employee may become eligible for PEBB insurance benefits after 6 months of employment.
