We are looking for a busser(s) to join our team at The Chalet Restaurant.
Located on the South Hill, we are a family owned and operated establishment that has been in business over 40 years. We regularly see large parties, have busy weekends & regulars who have been coming in for decades. We serve American diner comfort food; all menu served all day!
We have two positions available:
1) Mon-Fri busser: works independently, clears and cleans tables, washes dishes, general cleaning; with training, eventually seating customers and bringing water and/or drinks. Weekdays have a different flow so duties can vary more such as extra cleaning projects and helping the servers are in addition to general duties. Wage DOE + tips.
2) Sat/Sun busser: works with other bussers as a team to keep tables clean & set, wash dishes, general cleaning; good option for entry level workers aka teenagers or those with minimal experience but great work ethics. ("If you lean you clean!") Weekends are busy with waitlists and large parties; must be able to cope with and adjust to that. Min wage + tips
Additional Requirements: food handler card; non-slip shoes (black); uniform is black pants with black collared shirt tucked in, belt as needed.
