THE POSITION: Focuses on the day-to-day operational maintenance, security, and operation of the Kootenai County Airport.
$17.22 per hour to start

DO YOU QUALIFY?
Do you have at least a High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years related experience? No degree required.
Do you have a Class A CDL?
Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a Basic and Advanced Airport Safety and Operations School Certificate?
Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a Heavy Equipment Operations Training, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Certification (SCBA), and an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Certification (ARFF)?
Do you possess or have the ability to possess a First Aid card and CPR certification?
Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver’s license and are you insurable?
ARE YOU SKILLED IN?
Operating and maintaining heavy equipment, including; gasoline and diesel powered engines, graders, bulldozers, front-end loaders, snow plows, snow blowers, dump trucks, and numerous other heavy equipment?
Maintaining roads, and providing large scale snow removal?
Working with and responding to tenants, contractors, and various public and private agencies in regards to construction and maintenance projects?
Providing emergency response, including aircraft rescue and fire fighting?
