Caregiver needed for Adult Family Home in Chattaroy (just 12 minutes north of the “Y”).
Since 1997 we have taken care of gentlemen only, usually disabled veterans.
Rate is $22.00 an hour.
Flexible on the schedule. Full or part-time.
Must speak fluent English. Must be experienced and professional.
Must be able to deal with grumpy old men (they’re not that bad). :) Must be able to prepare meals. Must have no limiting mental or physical conditions (lifting not required). Must be diligent and professional in caring with Residents, staff and visitors, documentation and other issues.
Days available are Monday thru Friday 7:am to 3:00 pm. Full or part time.
Training requirements are:
Pass a background check and Fingerprint Check
Fundamentals of Care Giving Certificate or NAC, CNA or HCA
First Aid/ CPR - current
Must be able to care for six residents during this shift (we currently have only five residents for the foreseeable future).
TB Test with 3 days of hire
Nurse Delegation Certificate
Health and Safety Certificate
Food handlers permi
Dementia certificate
Mental Health certificate
If you are missing some of the certificates arrangements can be made to help you acquire those.
Duties include cooking, cleaning, assisting Residents with incontinence, bathing, medications, etc.
