We're seeking caring & empathetic support professionals with the drive to make difference.

This role isn't for everyone. It's for those who wake up with a purpose: to make a lasting impact in the lives of children. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll be at the heart of our residential setting, nurturing and guiding our youth toward brighter futures.

Responsibilities:

Provide supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Plan and implement a schedule of social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.

Interact with individuals with developmental disabilities in the course of their daily lives.

Communicate clearly with individuals and families regarding supports and services available to them.

Support the efforts of individuals to participate in community activities.

Maintain an up-to-date record of each individual's support needs and service delivery system.

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 50lbs.

Must be 21 years of age or older

Qualifications

Proven experience in caregiving and direct support roles

Certification in First Aid and CPR Preferred

Familiarity with group home and assisted living environments

Strong skills in patient observation and care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Experience in youth long-term care and social work settings

Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in home and community care settings

Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
