At Legacy Gardens of Spokane Adult Family Home, we provide a loving and nurturing family environment for all of our residents and staff. Our goal is to make residents feel pampered and at home, so their family members can get back to enjoying frequent visits with their loved ones, and have more personal free time without having to worry about whether or not their loved one is happy and being well taken care of.
We have 5 residents, with 2 caregivers on staff daily from 6am- 9pm, and one caregiver from 9pm to 6am. With two caregivers present during your 1pm - 9pm shift, it makes for smooth afternoons and evenings. We have fun activities spread throughout the week, and many visitors who come to see their loved ones.
Our care team takes great pride in their work! Dealing with co-workers who no show, arrive late, or try and cut corners on providing quality care is NOT something you will need to worry about. Taking the extra time to provide top notch quality care is what we are known for. One example is every lady has her hair curled and styled every morning before heading off to breakfast. You will have quality training by the owner, so you will fully understand all the residents preferred daily routines, and tasks that need to be completed.

Our home has a gourmet kitchen with double ovens and double dishwashers, and our latest renovation includes a huge spa-like bathroom with travertine tile, heated floor, and a 6' x 7' roll in tile shower.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Monday: 1 - 10pm
Tuesday: 1 - 9pm
Wednesday: 1 - 9pm
Saturday: 1 - 10pm
Sunday: 3 - 10pm
DUTIES:
Prepare and serve dinner (NOC Shift does as much food prep as possible for you)
Showering residents
Helping residents with ADL's
General house cleaning and dusting
Medication Assistance
Participate in activities and exercises with residents
Responding quickly to call alarms
Re-position residents every 2 hours as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
NAC/CNA/HCA
Nurse Delegation
Mental Health and Dementia Specialties
CPR/First Aid
Food Handlers
2 Step TB Screening (to be given within 3 days of being hired)
Be able to pass a Washington State background check and a drug test prior to employment
Provide 3 references
