Full Time CAREGIVER POSITION in AFH on south hill. We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, professional and experienced individual to join our team. We currently have 6 awesome residents who are looking for a long-term caregiver to be part of their lives. No need to worry about being bothered on your days off, our staff are extremely dependable, and call ins are extremely rare.
Our ideal applicant will have a current NAC or HCA (NAR's are also hired if they have a letter in hand from a 2011 employer that they worked with all credentials that year), MUST BE Covid 19 vaccinated, Dementia specialty, Mental health specialty and nurse delegation certificates. Other requirements for the position will be a background check, TB testing, CPR/1st aid certificate and food handlers' certificate (which can be done prior to working). We are a non-smoking facility.
Our home was completely updated 6 years ago with everything (resident rooms, separate caregiver bedroom, laundry room, etc.) on the main floor.
We do 24-hour shifts, paying every 2 weeks. Current schedule is working every Thursday and Saturday and EVERY OTHER Wednesday (starting at 7am, work 10 days total a month and have 20 days off). There is potential for advancement after one year for those looking to go into management.
Pay averages $22.00/hr ($1760 every two weeks/$45,760/yr at a minimum).
We have been in business for 25 years and our staff have been with us on average 8 plus years. We are a drama free environment that is looking for a like-minded individual.
