Responsibilities and Duties
Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
Reviewing medical history with patients.
Performing pretesting such as auto-refraction, visual acuities, blood pressure, and eye pressure.
Performing ancillary testing, such as visual fields, retinal photos, and optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Teaching contact lens insertion and removal.
Assisting with contact lens fitting and follow ups.
Cleaning and preparing the exam rooms.
Assisting with ordering contact lenses and maintaining contact lens trial inventory.
Verifying contact lens orders.
Making follow-up calls to patients.
Scribing for doctor.
Educating patients.
