Job Description:
· Supervise, educate, coach, and mentor nursing staff, and foster a caring environment that respects our patients' dignity
· Lead and manage nursing care on your ward and shift, including administering medications and treatments
· Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to maintain a high quality of nursing care for people being treated for behavioral health conditions
· Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team that plans, delivers, and evaluates all patient care provided
· Respond in a lead role in case of a health emergency and therapeutically intervene to de-escalate patients' behavior
Who should apply? A Registered Nurse with a valid Washington State RN license or the ability to obtain one by the start of employment AND two years of professional nursing experience. Who we are: We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our Geropsychiatric Unit (GPU), Adult Psychiatric Unit, and Forensic Services Unit.
