Skils'kin is looking for a full-time working Supervisor for our Civil Services Custodial operations. We are looking for a person in the local area who has strong leadership and organizational skills. Locations serviced currently include Customs and Border Protection compound in north Spokane, Spokane International Airport Tower, Felts Field Tower and Hanger, and NIOSH / CDC in the Spokane Washington area. Candidate chosen will be based primarily full time Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at NIOSH / CDC. As a primary Skils'kin leader, the Supervisor / Lead coordinates, assists with performance, and monitors the daily activities of assigned custodial teams with integrity and accountability under the direct supervision of the Project Manager / Director /. This will include learning all work performed on our contracts, coaching and training of employees with and without disabilities.
In the role as a working Supervisor, you will learn directly from management all of the facilities requirements, our proven processes and procedures, and coaching techniques. You will work closely with management for day to day operational needs. You will ensure continuity of quality performance standards while providing feedback and coaching to team members to improve and maintain performance and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile:
Experience and confidence in professional cleaning industry work or similar commercial operation.
Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to build high functioning teams and a strong willingness to collaborate with others ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Must develop professionally friendly employee and assigned site relationships, manage time well, strategize and plan as needed on an independent level.
Must have a strong safety mindset and abide by all safety requirements.
Must respect and follow care and basic maintenance requirements of equipment provided.
Commercial floor care experience is helpful, but not necessary.
Growth mindset, willingness to learn and grow in your job while contributing to strong team relationships.
Understanding and acceptance for the need to be flexible and pivot as needs arise
Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills.
You must have respect and empathy for all others.
Other Requirements:
You must pass a company generated criminal history background check based on our standards.
You will work at Federal installations and your eligibility for employment will depend on passing a full Federal background check.
You must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old. Your Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed to determine if you meet our safe driver standards.
Available to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies is required.
