Job Description
Fireplace Installer will install gas and wood burning hearth appliances (This may be retrofitting an existing fireplace or adding to an existing or new home. Read drawings and manufacture instructions regarding the proper installation of the product.
We are looking for an individual or crew. This is a full time position with the opportunity to broaden your skill-sets and advance in the company
Successful candidate will be able to prioritize with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive relationship with management and co-workers as well as maintaining a professional rapport and appearance with clients as necessary. Strong customer service skills a must.
Desired Skills/Experience
o Various Fireplace brand factory training certifications
o Previous construction, general laborer or equivalent experience
Skills and Qualifications
o Must have and maintain an excellent driving record
o Ability to use power tools, hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
o Must be customer service oriented while working in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
o High School Diploma or Equivalent
o Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check/employment verification.
Physical Requirements
o 75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools
o Ability to lift 80 or more pounds multiple times a day
o Ability to carry, push, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, and work with your hands
o Comfortable working in extreme environmental conditions including but not limited to: Wet and humid weather, working on a ladder or roof, working in extreme cold or heat, working in crawl spaces and attics
