POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility grounds, including fixing fences, performing general lawn care, and conducting maintenance on farm equipment machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing fences, mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.
Monitor and report any issues with facility infrastructure or equipment to management.
Snow removal during the winter months.
Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
REQUIRMENTS:
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
Handy and competent in performing various maintenance tasks.
Must have reliable transportation.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be over the age of 18 (over 21 preferred).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in grounds and maintenance work, particularly in a farm or equestrian setting.
Familiarity with basic farm equipment and machinery.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
