Southside Water and Sewer District in beautiful Sagle, Idaho is seeking a seasonal laborer to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled physical tasks. This temporary employee will work under the direct supervision of the District Maintenance Supervisor. Job to last 5 months or less. Must have a valid Drivers License and Cell phone.
Examples of duties:
Performs heavy physical labor, including shoveling, loading and lifting
Assists in the repair, installation and/or replacement of sewer mains, laterals, service taps and manholes
Assists in the repair, installation and/or replacement of water meters, connections, mains, valves & fire hydrants
When authorized, may operate pickups, tractor, backhoe, generator, pumps, compressor, chain saw, and other miscellaneous construction equipment
Performs tree trimming and weed control
Cleans facilities and operation equipment, as required by daily visual inspection
Performs general building maintenance and grounds keeping
Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with District procedures, and safety practices
Performs other related duties as required
