Job Description for Service Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This position will primarily focus on providing maintenance and repair services in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in light plumbing, electrical work, tape and texture painting, and general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform light plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains.
Conduct basic electrical tasks, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Complete tape and texture painting jobs as required, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Handle general maintenance duties, such as repairing doors, windows, and minor carpentry work.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and efficiently resolve issues.
Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of maintenance equipment and tools.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Assist in other maintenance tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Proficiency in light plumbing repairs and electrical work.
Ability to perform tape and texture painting to a high standard.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and appliance repair is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
