A Local Excavation Company is Seeking Hardworking, Honest, Reliable Individuals, with Some Experience and/or Knowledge of Excavation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Understanding of construction principles and procedures.
- Previous excavation experience preferred.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Work as Directed on Excavation/Construction Projects.
- Maintain a Clean and Tidy Worksite.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and directions.
- Ability to understand and use basic construction tools (e.g. able to read a tape measure).
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Perform manual labor tasks using a variety of hand and mechanical tools.
- Competent to drive both manual and automatic full-size trucks safely and in accordance with state and federal laws.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to accurately track and manage time. Must submit a completed time-card daily!
- Maintain and operate excavation equipment as directed by supervisor.
- Assist foreman with all onsite tasks; including pipe fitting and grade checking.
- Other tasks as assigned.
SKILLS:
- Able to perform basic math computations.
- Able to work up to 12 hour shifts in all weather conditions and temperatures.
- Physically able to climb, stoop, bend, and lift heavy loads up to 80 Lbs.
- Able to manage time accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of plans and blueprints.
