Up to $19.50/hour working in Blueberries

We have started harvest on our Organic blueberry farm and the crop is heavy this year so we need 2 or 3 more people to work either in the field picking up filled flats and transporting to our cooler or working in our packing shed packing the fruit. The packing shed is refrigerated so during this time of year one is working in a cool to cold environment. In the field it's a different story and this takes more physical effort so it's generally a fit man or woman's sport!

The work runs 5 days a week from now through about end of September so if one is college bound this might work well for you. Must be physically fit and able to work all day lifting, carrying and stacking 20# flats if you work in the field.

Work in the packing shed involves placing filled small packages in cartons and stacking or sealing the cartons and moving back to the cooler. Not too physically demanding but it is cold so one must dress accordingly. We have several ladies who work in this area without issue. Cartons weigh only about 10# so pretty light work but chilly!

Pay is $18/hr with a $1.50/hr bonus if you show up timely everyday and stay to the end of the season.
