We are looking for a LEAD for the day shift, Monday - Thursday. 10 Hr. Shift.
We are a dynamic AS9100 certified prototype / low volume shop utilizing several methods for production. Our CNC machine shop consists of 3, 4, 5 Axis Mills and Lathe/Live Tooling. We specialize in the tough parts and all types of materials. Our customers are high tech OEM's and they come to us because they know we deliver a quality product, in the time frame they need. We work with a variety of industries: Aerospace, Medical, Gaming, Electronic, Sports.
We would like to add an individual with a proven track record in programming and high quality machining. You need to be skilled, motivated and dependable; a creative problem solver -- someone who can work independently and takes pride in their work. We require 5+ years' experience in CNC programming and machining parts with both Mill and Lathe, in all materials (metals and plastics) and a minimum of 2 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
As a member of our machine shop team, you will perform:
-- CAD file management
-- Fixture development
-- CNC programming
--Set-up and machine operations
-- Inspection and measurements of the completed part before QC dept.
SurfCAM or MasterCAM would be helpful as well as proven experience with all typical machine shop support equipment.
You will also be responsible for assisting the Machine Shop Manager with scheduling work, personnel assignments, maintaining a high level of quality and training others.
