At Green Grower Labs, we provide quality assurance testing for the I-502 recreational cannabis market. We test products for potency, contaminants, and other quality measures. Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our Quality Control (QC) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in laboratory work, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a commitment to compliance within industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Intake samples from deliveries.
Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
Support senior QC analysts with daily tasks
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to cannabis handling and laboratory operations.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in science field preferred
Previous experience in a laboratory setting is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations (e.g., state and federal testing requirements) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Comfortable working with chemicals and laboratory equipment.
