Job Description:
Stay Dry Solutions is looking for an experienced and result-driven roofing Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting our roofing sales goals.
We are looking for the right candidate that will be able to grow with our company. Great Communication skills, the ability to work interdependently, self motivation, and the ability to be highly organized are all skills that are essential for success in this sales role. Sales experience and customer service experience is necessary, and roofing sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Full time availability
Generate leads and meet with customers in their homes to sell roofing services
Maintain a vehicle and insurance for transportation purposes
Return customer calls in a timely manner
Maintain tablet for customer appointments
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Build productive trust relationships with customers
Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Skills
Work experience as a Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
Prior construction or roofing knowledge is a plus
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Basic Math skills
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting: 20% (in the office, clients homes, driving to appointments)
Standing/walking: 80% Must be able carry a 32' ladder and climb on roofs
Must have excellent communication skills.
Hearing: Must be able to hear telephonic equipment and comfortably communicate with clients and others by telephone and in person
Near Vision: The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for working with customers
Compensation:
Weeks: 1-2 hourly pay for your first 2 weeks of training
Weeks: 3+ (Sales Associate) salary plus commission depending on experience Average Commission is $1,000 per Signed Job Average Earnings is $5,000-$10,000 per month Average Earnings in First Year $65,000 to $125,000
