Established, family owned business with over 20 years of local experience in the industry is seeking a FULL TIME sales representative to sell a variety of equipment including:
Residential Elevators
Commercial and Residential Stair Lifts
Commercial and Residential Wheelchair Lifts
We do not employ aggressive sales tactics, nor cold calling to solicit sales. Understanding customer needs and empathy for their situation is an important attribute for this position. Applicant must be a team player who is self-motivated to bring continued success to the company. This position will be the primary point of contact for our customers. We will provide chosen applicant with training specific to our industry.
Qualifications:
Prior sales and customer service experience
Construction or project management background is very helpful, but not mandatory
Detail oriented and organized
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Quick learner, honest, and RELIABLE.
Professional appearance
Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word and Excel
Clean driving record a must
No criminal, or drug use history - must be able to pass agency background checks
Job Description:
Answer incoming sales calls and respond to supplier leads.
Meet with homeowners and contractors to discuss lift needs and possible solutions.
Learn and articulate applicable installation codes for our products.
Specify product requirements with designers and architects.
Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
Place product and parts orders with our suppliers.
Occasionally receive and process incoming freight
Manage sales from inquiry and proposal stage through installation and warranty registration.
Coordinate customer service and repair requests with our field team.
Process agency RFQs and Purchase Orders.
