VOLT is seeking IT Quality Assurance Analyst for a long term contingent position with our client in Spokane, WA. Our desired candidate should have strong experience with manual testing and taking a set of business requirements into test cases, run them, analyze, log defect and tract them to closure. Responsibilities:Plan and Perform functional, regression, systems and integration test cyclesApply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolutionEnsure that testing is completed on time and that it addresses all user and functional requirementsIdentify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking systemParticipate in collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities for measurement and analysis as requiredEscalate issues or risks to the Quality Assurance ManagerProvide testing status reports per project requirementsParticipate in reviews and audits of project activities and work products to ensure compliance with documented plans, procedures, and standards as requiredCommunicate with product owner and Business Analysts to understand/clarify requirementsParticipate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings when necessaryMaintain Project?s test documentationRequirements:Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment under deadlines in a changing environmentAbility to successfully prioritize, organize and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work as a team member, as well as independentlyStrong attention to detail in all facets of workProven problem-solving skills and analytical abilityEducation:BA/BS Preferred (Computer Science or a related field)At least 3 years? experience in Software testingExperience with performance, scalability, latency, integration and regression testingExperience with testing tools and methodologiesDemonstrated proficiency in Test Plan and Test Case writingISTQB, CSTE certificate or equivalent preferredVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer
