A large commercial real estate company headquartered in the greater Spokane area has an immediate opening for an experienced assistant maintenance manager.
The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of general commercial building maintenance procedures, knowledge of commercial roofing systems, strong mechanical aptitude and be willing to learn new skills. Experience with Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
The candidate will assist with day-to-day maintenance operations, assist with oversight of 5-6 maintenance employees, assist with tenant improvements, assist with safety program and training, assist with inspections and recordkeeping, assist with special projects. Must be competent with Microsoft word, excel and outlook with the ability to learn to operate specialty computer programs. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and perform manual labor including, but not limited to lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Neat appearance, people skills and a non-smoker are job requirements. We are looking for an individual who wants to make this a long-term career move. Wage will depend on experience, range from $28-38 per hour.
