Project Management:
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Project accounting and control
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Must understand job costing and tracking of bid items
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction management or other related fields
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or related field (preferred not required)
Familiarity with construction management software, experience with ComputerEase a plus.
Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid preferred
Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook
Strong leadership qualities

Estimator:
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work and required resources.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis to support bid proposals.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals.
Present estimates and proposals to senior management and participate in bid review meetings.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in heavy civil construction projects.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Excel, Bluebeam).
Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in heavy civil projects.
Experience with bid analysis, subcontractor negotiations, and cost tracking.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred not required).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
