Employment for Journeyman Carpenter
Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in all phases of commercial carpentry and commercial TI work including
Door and hardware installation
Steel stud framing
Drywall installation
Finish carpentry
Casework installation
Painting skills and drywall finishing are a plus- will result in a higher starting wage
Review blueprints to understand the scope of the project
Have excellent communication skills
RDW works days, but there is a heavy occurrence of Night work consisting of 4 ea. 10 hrs shifts with 3 days off
Required for Employment:
Valid Driver’s License- preferred Real ID for Federal projects
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check and abide by zero drug use policy in accordance with Federal standards
Compensation
$69,000.00-$72,800.00 yearly base compensation (before prevailing wage)
Fully paid health insurance after 60 days
Vacation
Sick leave (52 hours per calendar year)
7 paid holidays
Per Diem as applicable
Potential annual bonuses based upon overall yearly profitability
