Sturm Heating Commercial team is expanding and are looking for a qualified Commercial Lead Installers that are self-motivated, experienced, independent, and goal oriented. Canidate would be responsible for managing new construction, small warehouse, strip malls TI, retrofit, and multi-family commercial projects from start to finish with 1-4 team members working below him/her. Lead Commercial Installer duties would include maintaining job schedule, material ordering, lay-out coordination, equipment start-ups, and mentoring less experienced install crew members. Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication and installation
Proficient at commercial installations
Advanced Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
Basic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
Ability to do perform basic pre-construction layout.
Ability to do accurate material take-offs on construction blueprints
Ability to foresight and planning for ordering materials to keep project moving efficiently
Size and draw duct work correctly
Excellent customer relations skills and an open mind to think outside of the box
Minimum 5 years commercial install experience
Ability to train entry level personal
Required License and Certifications:
Gas Mechanics 1
EPA Universal
CPR Certification
