Position Overview:
We are seeking an HVAC Technician or Apprentice to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for both residential and commercial clients. If you're an apprentice, this is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on training while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide solutions to optimize system performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine system checks.
- Calibrate HVAC systems to meet customer comfort requirements.
- Assist with system installations, including placing equipment and connecting ductwork and refrigerant lines.
- Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on proper system maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Keep detailed records of work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Qualifications:
HVAC Technician:
- Enrolled or graduated HVAC School
- Previous experience in HVAC installation, service, or maintenance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with refrigerant handling and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Apprentice:
- No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn HVAC systems and techniques.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or HVAC equipment is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
