Ironworkers are home most nights.
You will be installing prefabricated materials on job sites.
Qualifications:
⢠Heavy emphasis will be placed ironworker experience in miscellaneous and light structural steel
⢠3+ yearsâ experience in structural & misc. ironworking
⢠AWS or WABO certified
⢠Ability to read and understand blue prints required
⢠Must be able to do shop math proficiently
⢠Able to work on your own or on a team
⢠Ability to think things through and problem solve
⢠Ability to use tools such as plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene torch and hand tools
⢠Possess a keen attention to detail
⢠Ability to regularly lift and/or move 30 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
⢠High school diploma or GED required
Duties:
⢠Weld mild steel and stainless steel according to blueprints
⢠Do QA by inspecting welded parts against blueprints
⢠Perform other duties as assigned
⢠Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
⢠Must perform all duties in compliance with DOSH and OSHA standards
⢠Must follow written and verbal details to complete assignments
⢠Operate forklift and scissor lift -certification available
⢠Crane signaling â certification available
⢠Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly
⢠Communicate to management about machinery, safety and quality issues as they arise
