Pay: DOE – Starts at $25 per hour ($52,000-$54,500k yearly) with opportunity to advance with raise after 90 probation period.

OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. This is a skilled carpentry position involving woodworking and general construction requirements. An employee in this classification is responsible for carrying out assignments necessary to assist lead carpenters in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various carpentry tasks and a strong work ethic.
DUTIES
Constructs and remodels kitchens, bathrooms, remodel of existing structures, adds additions to existing structures and general construction practices.
Build scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
Cut timber and lumber to specified dimensions.
Install siding, exterior trim, interior and exterior doors and windows.
Assist in the layout of foundation, building lines and anchor bolts.
Unload materials from trucks.
Hold timbers, lumber, and paneling in place for fastening or cutting.
Record time and material usage on various projects.
Perform work as required and as directed and take directions well.
Utilize power tools effectively and safely.
Lay tiles and install fixtures according to schematics.
Execute precise fixture installation.
Apply caulking as needed during construction projects.
Assist in building structures as per project requirements.
Fast pace and takes the time to complete work to the highest standards.
EXPERIENCE
- Has at least 3+ years’ experience and/or equivalent education.
- Proven experience in frame carpentry and other relevant carpentry tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work with power tools proficiently
- Framing experience is a must.
- Familiarity with mold remediation procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in tile laying, fixture installation, and reading schematics.
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
- Works well in team environment and respectful around homeowners
