Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a JLG Skytrak reach forklift to move lumber and wall panels efficiently on construction sites.
- Loading and unloading construction materials from trucks.
- Carefully placing materials in designated areas within the yard.
- Maintaining clear communication with ground personnel and following safety protocols.
- Conducting daily equipment checks to ensure operational safety and performance.
- Collaborating with the crew to coordinate movement of materials according to project timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a reach forklift operator.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Familiarity with JLG Skytrak or similar reach forklift models.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety and protocols.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Framing experience a plus.
