Are you ready to take the wheel and lead the way? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Pilot Vehicle Operators. As a vital part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of oversized loads across the country.
What You’ll Do:
Escort oversized vehicles and loads, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other road users to maintain safe travel conditions.
Navigate routes effectively, using maps and GPS systems to plan the best paths.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Provide assistance to drivers during complex maneuvers and in navigating challenging road conditions.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Experience in a similar role or relevant training preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.28 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
