PAY SCALE AS FOLLOWED:
1. 1-90 DAYS $.70PER MILE $50-$150 TARP
2. 90-270 DAYS $.75PER MILE PLUS TARP,
PLUS MEDICAL, DENTAL AND VISION PAID
3. 270 DAYS-1YR $.80PER MILE PLUS TARP, 1/2 MEDICAL, DENTAL AND VISION PAID
Overview
We are a growing, family oriented heavy-haul flatbed company seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. Our routes are regional, mostly within Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana and northern Utah. Our drivers are home on weekends.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience pulling flatbed doubles, but we can train if you don't have flatbed experience. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods to designated locations. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Duties
Operate tractor-trailer, pulling flatbed doubles.
Drive routes efficiently while ensuring the safe securement and transport of freight.
Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to commercial driving.
Experience
Proven experience as a flatbed driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, or other specialized vehicles is advantageous.
Ability to operate forklifts and perform loading/unloading tasks safely.
Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills.
Previous flatbed experience beneficial, but not required as we will train the right candidate.
