Description We are currently looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to handle our company's billing and collection activities. As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of our financial records by managing daily accounting tasks.Job Duties:
Undertake tasks relating to accounts receivable including updating our records, reconciling invoices, sending payments, and maintaining our financial files.
Be responsible for overseeing and processing deductions and short pays.
Handle promotional offers presented to customers by documenting and tracking the redemption of these deductions.
Operate on a customer by customer basis to ensure personalized attention to account details and promote customer satisfaction.
Retrieve data from statements regularly for accurate account monitoring and tracking.
Perform manual work, such as matching statements with the correct amount, to ensure the accuracy of our financial records.
Conduct regular data entry into Excel to keep track of all deductions and maintain up-to-date records.
Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role.
Excellent understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel).
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
Strong mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.
Exceptional communication and effective problem-solving traits.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
