Description Jamie Benway with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity in the accounting industry based in Vancouver, Washington, United States. The role we are looking to fill is an Assistant Controller. This position requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team. As an Assistant Controller, you will be accountable for handling customer applications, keeping precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.Responsibilities: Ensuring accurate processing of customer credit applications in a timely manner Keeping precise records of customer credit Managing customer inquiries efficiently and professionally Overseeing customer accounts and executing appropriate interventions when necessary Partnering with finance business to manage budget and variance analysis Handling standard costing and running the close process for the plant Auditing financial activities to ensure compliance and accuracy Leading a small team and fostering a positive work culture Liaising with other departments to ensure financial operations run smoothly Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures in line with industry standardsPlease contact Jamie Benway with Robert Half to review this position. Job Order: 03600-0013114279Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000Bonus: 20% Benefits Medical: provided Vision: providedDental: providedLife & Disability Insurance: providedRetirement Plans: N/APaid Time OffPaid Vacation: 3 weeks Paid Holidays: standard Sick leave: 1 week Requirements Demonstrated experience in an Assistant Controller role or similar position Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field Certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred Proficiency in auditing and risk management Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong knowledge of financial data analysis and forecasting Proficient use of financial software and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines High ethical standards and detail oriented in handling confidential information Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently.
