We have career opportunities for full-time Certified Nursing Assistants at Yakima Valley School. You'll interact with clients in a residential living atmosphere, providing care and engaging in therapeutic activities on and off-campus. You'll partner with residents and their family members, providing choices in all areas of their lives.

Some of what you'll do :
Actively participate in the daily lives of the clients and residents we care for.
Provide direct care and active engagement designed to maximize independent living skills.
Teach and assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, leisure skills, community awareness, safety and routine household responsibilities.
Transport and escort residents to and from various recreational activities and health appointments.
Provide personal care for residents.
Provide safe and protective interventions in the presence of challenging behaviors.
What we’re looking for:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who like to have fun and engage in resident’s daily activities
OR
Registered Nursing Assistants with a Certificate of Completion and eligible to test for certification AND 1 year of related experience or high school completion or equivalent.
