Safeguard Security is currently seeking an experienced Fire & Security Alarm installer for our Kanawha / Putnam and surrounding communities. Must have good attendance and like working with other people.
REQUIRED DUTIES
⢠Install and service our security systems in residential and commercial properties
⢠Wiring and trim out of structured cabling, audio/video, security, and CCTV systems
⢠Installing electrical apparatuses and equipment in a residence
⢠Working with a maximum of 240 volts
⢠Wiring
⢠Troubleshooting
⢠Trim and fixtures
⢠Reading blueprints and schematics
⢠Low voltage installations
⢠Communicate systems performance to customer
⢠Installing safety features and ground connections
⢠Installing low voltage
⢠Ability to climb ladders
⢠Ability to pull, secure and terminate wire
⢠Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting security, audio/video, networking, and CCTV Systems
⢠A wide range of experience from Pre-Wire to Programmer
⢠WV license is not necessary, but would be a plus.
⢠Ability to read and install systems per design drawings and sales proposals
⢠Position requires high level of efficiency, attention to detail, quality control, and teamwork
⢠Candidate must possess all necessary hand tools to complete daily tasks
⢠Must have a driverâs license.
